SUMMARY:Research for Life Workshop & Turnitin User Training
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to inform staff and students that our institution will host a Research for Life Workshop and Turnitin User Training scheduled for Wednesday\, 10th March 2026. \nThis important training will be conducted by a team of experts from Lira University and is aimed at strengthening the capacity of our research supervisors and academic staff in effectively guiding and managing student research. \nThe workshop will focus on: \n\n\nIntroduction to the Research for Life Programme and how it supports access to global academic and scientific resources. \n\n\nTurnitin User Training\, focusing on how supervisors can use the system to check originality\, manage student submissions\, and promote academic integrity. \n\n\nBest practices in supervising student research\, including strategies for improving research quality and minimizing plagiarism. \n\n\nThis engagement is part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to enhancing research capacity\, improving academic supervision\, and promoting responsible scholarly work among students. \nAll research supervisors and relevant academic staff are encouraged to participate actively in this training to strengthen their skills in supporting students through the research process. \nWe warmly welcome the Lira University team and look forward to a productive and impactful session. \nDate: 10th March 2026Facilitators: Lira University Research Support TeamTheme: Strengthening Research Supervision and Academic Integrity
